*Role : Sr. QA Analyst Location : Pasadena, CA Duration : 8+ Months with likely extensions Interview : Phone then Face to Face No H1b* *Job Description:* · Seeking a talented QA Engineer to join an exciting client of ours in the greater LA area. · This person will be joining a new Scrum team with our client to support an innovative new initiative. · The position of Quality Assurance Engineer is directly responsible for timely testing and certification of company products. · Quality Assurance Engineers are committed to delivering great software and releasing it quickly, efficiently and with increasing quality to knock-the-socks-off of our client user experience. *Responsibilities:* · Build manual and automated tests to validate application functionality, data flows, and APIs · Help drive test automation and contribute to test framework development · Responsible for learning and participating in all phases of the software development life cycle · Typical tasks include: developing manual and automated tests, generating test data, executing tests, gathering detailed results and analyzing test outcomes · Tracks issues in defect tracking system and participates in review meetings · Plays a key part in developing innovative software in a fast-paced, agile environment · Must maintain high standard of quality for test code, documentation, and other deliverables · Adheres to industry best practices and contributes to internal coding standards · Supports Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Regulatory functions as necessary *Technical Requirements* · 6+ years’ experience as a software tester interacting with delivery teams, business, and software development organization · 3+ years’ development and/or test automation experience · 3+ years’ experience with Selenium/Java/Jenkins/Subversion/GitHub · Knowledge of creating moderately complex SQL queries · Knowledge of software testing techniques and test case development · Ability to determine optimal test case required for various testing needs · Mainframe testing is a plus · Experience testing web services/backend components · Good understanding of object oriented concepts · Experience with Rally creating manual scripts and reporting defects is a plus · Must be able to work as a member of an Agile Delivery Team and willing to perform any delivery task including development, test, business analysis, and release engineering · Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related technical field · CSTE or CSQA certification is a plus *Other Requirements:* · Must be able to work on tasks collaboratively or independently with appropriate supervision · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Must be able to work on tasks collaboratively or independently with appropriate supervision · Proven ability as a problem solver and have natural curiosity about how software solutions work · Working knowledge of software security and performance engineering concepts · Working knowledge in continuous integration/deployment [image: 318bafe.png] *Regards , * *Umang Goswami* *Technical Recruiter* *VSG Business Solutions* *Email ID : [email protected] <[email protected]>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
