Our Los Angeles client seeks an aggressive and dynamic individual looking
to break some eggs and deliver unforgettable consumer products. Our client
is breaking new ground every day in delivering the world’s greatest video
entertainment experiences in the most exciting and rapidly changing
industry today.

The qualified candidate will work on all client video services including
their suite of VOD streaming and live streaming apps and websites, in
addition to creating the best cross-platform entertainment experiences for
advanced consumers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about
television, movies, entertainment, and technology. The qualified candidate
will have a deep understanding of the technology that serves video on
demand and live streaming services. The selected candidate will then
execute against that vision via small, medium, and long-term projects. The
candidate will be part of a team that believes in working fast, being
accountable, and learning from mistakes.

*Responsibilities*:

·Inform, develop, and execute on the long term strategy and architecture to
position existing services and platforms for the next decade of video
distribution technology.

·Manage multiple projects that support content services as well as
monetization and measurement of these services.

·Work with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and deliverables

*Day to Day*:

Engage customers, prospects, programming partners, and internal
stakeholders to determine and define business requirements for technical
content projects.

Create product documentation including forecasts, product briefs, and PRDs.

Cultivate strong relationships among working teams with potential exposure
to Senior Leadership.  Manage high-level relationships with IT,
Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Programming, Customer Care, Ad Sales,
Design and key programming partners.

Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across a variety of parallel
programs delivering the next generation of video services.

Understand and communicate consumer behavior for existing products and
services.

Create effective and engaging presentations to communicate product vision
and status to cross-functional teams and Senior Leadership.

Effectively communicate contractual obligations and requirements to
technical teams to ensure that programmer requirements are met on time.

 Experience: Typically this position is considered the foremost expert
within the product marketing discipline and an acknowledged authority
within the organization. 3+ years’ experience in product marketing, product
management, or product development required, ideally in the video
entertainment or adjacent spaces. Experience with the content rights and
distribution aspects of video products a plus.

*Qualifications*:

·3-5 years’ experience in managing or leading digital product development
initiatives or related experience.

·Excellent critical and analytical thinking skills.

·Extensive knowledge video distribution technology serving video on demand,
live TV streaming, measurement, and dynamic ad insertion.

·Experience working with television programming groups and external content
providers.

·Previous experience with set top boxes, mobile/ tablet apps, connected
TVs, and/or game consoles

·Ability to interact with a diverse set of technical and non-technical
stakeholders.

·Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

·Must be self-motivated and accountable, owning projects from inception to
launch.

·Ability to adapt rapidly in a fast moving environment with shifting
priorities and the ability to react quickly, dynamically, and intelligently.

·Ability to understand and engage with technical teams on highly complex
projects.

·Advanced Powerpoint experience preferred.

·Undergraduate degree required (preferably in CS, Engineering, Market
Research or related field).

·Experience working with analytic tools such as Adobe Omniture.

·Experience with instrumentation tagging and reporting.
