Diagnosing issues and making recommendations/adjustments to aspects of the environment (including initialization parameters, O/S parameters) - Tuning SQL statements. Deep understanding of explain/execution plans • Database and data warehousing design and implementation in Oracle • Comfortable with Unix, Linux, and Windows usage • Unix scripting • PL/SQL coding experience • Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) experience to manage databases • Exposure to Oracle Real Application Clusters.
