You will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team developing next-generation products using the latest software technologies and frameworks. An ideal candidate will have a combined development and test automation background with the ability to perform in either a quality assurance or software development capacity. Responsibilities Responsible for creation of test scripts to send and retrieve data from cloud platforms as part of the overall strategy for testing system operation. Work with Development and Test teams to understand design of the Cloud platform and products using the platform; design & implement tests to verify correct operation of cloud storage and retrieval of system information. Design and implement tests to perform stress, longevity and feature validation. Perform manual tests and document results. Job Qualifications: BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or similar degree; 1 to 4 years’ experience in a software development or test environment Experience developing in Python scripting language Solid understanding of automated test approaches, best practices and applicability of automated testing in projects and products that contain hardware, firmware, and software components Knowledge of software debugging techniques and tools Some development experience in one or more of the following programming languages: C/C++, C#, JavaScript / Node.js. Experience with MS Office, Excel and ability to document test results in a well-organized manner Desired: Hands-on experience with public clouds such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or the Google Cloud Platform.
