Looking for a Firewall Resource/ Network Engineer with significant Palo Alto experience. This will be a 6 month contract that will more than likely go longer.
Location : Oklahoma City 6+ month Contract Must have good comm skills Interview : Phone and Skype They are in the process in being acquired and so most likely the will do away with the OKC IT office so they need a skeleton crew to keep things going in the meantime. Pay: $35/hr. target Responsibilities: Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot the firewall solution Provide guidance on code and content upgrades. Build custom security policies and application signatures. Build connections with remote locations including remote offices and suppliers. Interact with the network team and suppliers to troubleshoot and diagnose issues. Provide fault isolation and root cause analysis for technical issues. Analyze logs and events from the solution and provide threat analysis reports. Mitigate web-based threats in a timely manner. Qualifications: Detailed technical experience in the installation, configuration and operation of high-end firewall appliances, Requiring Palo Alto Networks products. Strong understanding of core Internet protocols and applications. Strong TCP/IP networking skills. Strong understanding of OSPF. Strong experience in Routing & Switching (OSPF / BGP / VLAN / STP). Strong experience with Security (IPSEC / SSL-VPN / NAT / GRE). Strong ability to independently debug broad, complex, and unique networks with mixed media and protocols required. Extensive background in internetworking, LAN, and WAN technologies required. Extensive knowledge of different security threats.
