*Duration: *6+ Months and May Hire *Position Description * Client has an immediate need for an Informatica Developer in Denver, CO. If you have been working in the healthcare industry, this is the chance to further advance your career *Your future duties and responsibilities * Client is looking for an Informatica ETL Developer, this team member will have a superior software development background that will facilitate design and development of technical solutions for new and existing Business Intelligence applications. Interacts with Lead Developers, System Analysts, Business Users, Architects, Test Analysts, Project Managers and peer developers to analyze system requirements, design and develop software applications. Technical solutions and supporting deliverables will be constructed to enable Cigna IT clients to accomplish their business objectives. This position is on a team that is responsible for providing technical Business Intelligence solutions. *Required qualifications to be successful in this role * • Develop Informatica workflows to collect data from multiple data sources based on mapping specifications provided to the developer. • Develop solutions outside of Informatica that allows for data to be collected (Linux scripts, Ruby, REST API, etc.) • Conduct unit testing and participate with system testing as required. Knowledge with Test Driven Development is strongly preferred. • Fill out required documentation such as installation instructions and follow Cigna standards and procedures. • Anticipate customers’ analytic needs and proactively conceptualize and champion high-value Business Intelligence solutions. • Actively support products by providing prompt responses to customer problems and inquiries. Make the customer’s experience first priority in all. • Provide on-call support duties for Application Production Support, which could include off hours and weekends. • Keep the Production Support team management informed of any issues or concerns. • Participate/Assist with deployments to all environments including Production (which could occur after hours). • New development and support task responsibilities as assigned. 1. Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent job experience 2. 4-6 years experience participating in the development of Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing systems. Oracle DB experience is required. 3. 4+ years software development experience 4. 3+ years of ETL development using Informatica in an Oracle Unix environment 5. Experience with PL/SQL 6. Experience with TOAD, GIT, Jenkins, uDeploy, REST APIs, Ruby 7. Knowledge of data warehousing and Unix 8. Experience working with customers from the initial development of business requirements, through all the Agile steps and providing on-going maintenance and support. 9. Demonstrates ability to obtain expert-level proficiency in multiple technologies. 10. Exemplifies teamwork and serves as role model. Ability to successfully facilitate collaboration across multiple functions, departments and levels. Unquestionable ethics & integrity. 11. Aptitude for gaining deep knowledge of the industry and business, and proactively using this knowledge to deliver meaningful results. 12. Experience with GIT, Jenkins, uDeploy 3. *Linux a must * 4. Ruby, REST API, Linux Scripts a plus 5. Looker (or experience with Tableau/OBIEE) a plus 6. Experience with Oracle Application Express is a plus 7. Familiar with Agile and SCRUM methodologies 8. Advanced Degree Demonstrated ability to (1) be analytical, (2) strong customer relationship skills, (3) strong communication skills (4) detail oriented and thorough, (5) ability to manage and prioritize multiple assigned tasks; (6) Be able to work independently.
