*Role : *Entry Level PHP Web Developer *Location : *MT Laurel, NJ Interview : Phone and F2F *Duration : *3+ months USC,GC and EAD-GC *QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS* ● Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline required. ● Minimum of *1-2 years developing in PHP* ● Experience using features and developing custom modules in *Drupal 7 highly desirable* ● *LAMP environment experience* ● Experience coding in jquery ● *Linux/Unix command line experience* ● Git (Version Control) experience. ● Demonstrated ability to write original Javascript code ● Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues. *POSITION SUMMARY* The Web Developer is responsible for engineering full stack software solutions using best practices in Drupal 7/8 and other frameworks, maintain and support existing code, and develop custom modules and solutions in PHP, Javascript and other programming languages as needed. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Understand the fundamentals in web development and programming, applying them as needed. ● Write custom code in PHP, Javascript and other programming languages as needed. ● Develop within the Drupal CMS framework as well as others as needed (familiarity with ColdFusion a plus) ● Maintain and develop software integration with internal and external software and databases. ● Deliver code and documentation in a timely fashion following department best practices. ● Review code of team members or vendors according to best practices and project requirements. ● Define technical requirements from high level functional specifications or common language descriptions following department best practices. ● Determine feasibility of requests and provide accurate work estimates and schedules. ● Research open source solutions, integrate, and configure to satisfy requirements more efficiently while ensuring strong future support. ● Participate in collaboration and accept direction in order to accomplish requirements. ● Communicate clearly and interact professionally with volunteers, clients, staff, vendors and others in both written and verbal opportunities. ● Provide recommendations, feedback and additions to any and all department best practices or project requirements.
