*Scrum Master*

In this key role, we are looking for a Scrum Master that is passionate
about Agile and helping the organization embrace scrum principles and Agile
development best practices in order to drive the successful, on-time and
high quality delivery of product development activities and internal
technical operations initiatives

The scrum master is responsible for leading and coaching multiple platform
and application development teams, coordinating and scheduling team
ceremonies, measuring progress and monitoring team performance (scope,
schedule, quality) and coordination with other scrum masters and subject
matter experts to resolve impediments and understand key inter-team
dependencies.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of the scrum framework
and is able to articulate scrum concepts and their value based on prior
experience.

*Responsibilities*

·  Serving as scrum master for 2-3 teams, providing guidance to teams and
organization on how to apply Agile/Scrum best practices in a way that
allows for client to respond to customer and product needs with high
predictability and quality.

·  Collaborating with the Product Owner to ensure backlogs are groomed and
maintained.

·  Organizing and facilitating daily stand-ups, requirement estimation,
sprint & release planning, demos, retrospectives and other related team
meetings.

·  Tracking and reporting of all relevant team performance metrics to
ensure organizational transparency, including but not limited to team
velocity, sprint & release status.

·  Proactively identifying and removing team impediments thru consistent
focus on creative problem solving by the team, as well as thru
collaboration with appropriate subject matter experts and decision makers.

·  Ensuring team tracking tools and relevant documentation are maintained
and current at all times.

·  Building and promoting an open, trusting and respectful team
environment; facilitating discussion, collaborative decision making and
conflict resolution.

·  Ongoing assessment of the Scrum maturity of the team(s) and
organization; coaching the team to higher levels of maturity in order to
get the most out of self-organization, at a pace that is sustainable and
appropriate for the team and organization.

·  Providing support to the team(s) using a servant leadership style
whenever possible, and leading by example

·  All other duties as assigned.

 *Requirements*

·  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related
field.

·  A proven track record of successfully implementing software or web
development projects, with a minimum 2 years of experience serving in a
scrum master role leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced services
environment.

·  Experience leading multiple (2+) teams concurrently, with direct
responsibility for tracking & reporting on key metrics.

·  Knowledge of and/or experience with Kanban a plus

·  Foundational understanding of iterative development fundamentals, and
the value of metric reporting.

·  Demonstrated ability to apply best practices re: backlog management,
capturing burndown & velocity metrics and task-level definition/estimation.

·  Hands-on experience with other development methodologies and ability to
leverage these techniques as appropriate to strengthen team productivity
and deliverable quality.

·  CSM or ACP certification preferred.

·  Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

·  Strong judgment, with the ability to make quick, yet sound decisions and
follow through.

·  Must be self-motivated, proactive and able to work well under pressure
to manage competing demands.
