I sent to apk to my friend and he tested it and could use the
application perfectly.

by configured with Dev tools, what do you mean, apologies i just dont
understand this part and googling Android Dev tools doesnt yield any
results. I debug from within eclipse, so im not sure how to access the
Dev tools externally to unset the global debug application.
