Description: Our Client, an educational institution, is looking to hire a
Business Analyst in Golden, CO.
Responsibilities:
• Determine needs and requirements for implementing new business processes
with potential new technical solutions;
• Elicit, document, and re-engineer Business Processes based upon the needs
of the customer;
• Participate in planning for current system enhancements and future system
development throughout the product life-cycle;
• Develop and manage tools to provide metrics on project and portfolio
progress;
• Work with the delivery teams and liaising with clients to ensure project
success;
• Collaborate with other team members, across pillars in order to provide
oversight of all district projects / client activity and district project
prioritization;
• Assist the client in developing and presenting a technology road-map to
upper level management.
Requirements:
• Business analysis experience (10+ years);
• Enterprise-level project management experience (10+ years);
• Experience in customer service positions (10+ years);
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) – preferred;
• Experience in K-12 environment, cycles and practices; and understanding
and/or experience in public education concepts (must have for perfect
candidate)
• Bachelor's degree.

Title: Technical Writer
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Full Time Position, Need GC/Citizens only
Type: Full-Time Direct Employment with V&A Client
Remote or Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No
telecommuting or remote work.
Description: Our Client, one of the leading international communications
and information technology companies, is looking to hire a Technical Writer
in Colorado Springs, CO.
Salary: depending on your level of expertise.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Create, develop, plan, write and edit documentation pertaining to
programming, systems operation, training, and user documentation in
accordance with MIL-STD-38784, TO 00-5-1, 00-5-3 and all other compliance
directives;
· Develop and maintain Training Lesson Strategy Report, Instructor
Planning Document, and Student Guide using DI-MISC-81457, 81458, and 81456
as guidance;
· Have a general knowledge and understanding of engineering
specifications (drawings, A-level specifications, test procedures, etc.,)
in order to translate into user documentation;
· Coordinate and supports in-process reviews, certification
activities, and support of verification events with Lead Technical Writer
in accordance with TO 00-5-3 to ensure TOs are adequate, safe, and
accurate.
Requirements:
· Technical writing experience (5+ years);
· Experience producing and/or updating documentation using Adobe
Acrobat XI Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word, and a
Basic understanding of Satellite Communications systems operations and
applications;
· Proficient in the use of Adobe Technical Communication Suite 4,
Adobe FrameMaker (11 preferred) (required);
· Should have knowledge of: TO 00-5-1, TO 00-5-3, MIL-STD-38784A,
DI-MISC-81457, 81458, and 81456, and applicable USAF
directives/specifications (required);
· Space Background;
· Ablility to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC);
· Top Secret Clearance (TS/SCI);
· Bachelor’s degree.
