Hello there, I'm not sure where to start, but I'm at an impasse.
The company I work for built several apps a few years back and they are now
out of date and we don't have a business case to keep them on the store.
However, all people associated with the account are now gone. They left
behind username and passwords, but the password, it appears, does not work.
- We've tried the "Get a verification code by text message at: *(•••)
•••-••81*" option, however, we don't know anyone with a number that ends
in 81, assuming it's a departed person, but we've reached out and they do
not recognize it.
- We can't enter the month and year the acct was created because we have
no idea
- We tried the "Enter an email address you can check now. It helps if
you use an email you’ve already added to this account." option and got
close
- We entered the email address
- We received the code and entered it
- It said the following:
Thanks for verifying your email.
Google couldn't verify that [email protected] belongs to you.
I don't know what to do next. There is literally NO guidance on the page to
tell me what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've read that
logging in from the computer that last logged in, but that's a non-starter,
there's no way for me to know what computer that is at our company.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated (including pointing me to the
right forum if I'm in the wrong place.) I just want to be able to sunset
these apps before any more people buy them and waste their money.
