Hey! I am implementing the support for adaptive icons on Android O, but I found no reliable way to test that.
I saw in the internet that Pixel Launcher has an option "Change icon shape" <http://androidandme.com/2017/06/news/pixel-launcher-teardrop-app-icon-shape-android-o-developer-preview-3/> . This option is not available in the Pixel API level 26 Emulater. I have also a Nexus 5X flashed with 8.0.0 (OPR6.170623.013, Aug 2017) <https://developers.google.com/android/images#bullheadopr6.170623.013> (I managed to install Pixel Launcher even if it is not available for it in Google Play).
