*Role: Devops Engineer* *Location: Norwalk, CT * *Duration: 18 Months* *F2F must* - DevOps (Jenkins + our custom RHEVM based tooling and ClearCase) o Support existing DevOps framework – Jenkins + custom tooling o Help design / buildout of desired DevOps tooling o Integrate CI/CT with existing infrastructure / custom tooling o Tooling migration from development to production environments o Web frontend dashboard development/support – JavaScript + python o Use of SQL databases - Unix Admin (RHEL and Solaris) o Unix and other account management § Help setup developer UNIX accounts § Setup UNIX accounts as requested by other sites’ developers § Helping diagnose account issues of all types and follow up with account teams to ensure they are fixed. o Unix Administration and support § Supporting users on general UNIX usage – simple UNIX command set § Monitoring cron job results, investigating failures/error messages § Fileserver share access/free space support § Shell/Perl/Python script debugging/investigation - Tech Support – 1st, 2nd and 3rd line o First Line / Call triage § Taking phone calls, screening emails § Creating CAL and INC records in IT incident management system. o ClearCase Support – Can learn ClearCase on the job as long as candidate has good experience with other SCM system. § Dealing with day-to-day ClearCase issues and questions § Dealing with day-to-day UNIX tooling issues and questions § Investigating build failures related to tooling – distinguishing the preceding from developer errors. § Answering questions about how tooling/patches/integration works o Development Environment Support § First line support for Wind River Workbench, Code Collaborator, Team Center, Test Arena § Filing and following up on incident reports filed with other teams for the above - Integration – Can learn on the job with good theory of SCM knowledge o ClearCase stream creation and management o ClearCase stream support o ClearCase stream delivery o General integration workflow support – explaining to users, helping design flows in non-standard situations. *Thanks,* *Shyamsudnar* *[email protected] <[email protected]>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
