Role:Manual QA Duration: 4+ Months. Location: Oakbrook, IL Interview: Phone then Face to Face *They are looking for an October 16th start date. Looking to start interviewing the week of October 2nd. * *Experience with manual, programmatic and Robot automated testing methodologies* *Job Responsibilities: * • Provides planning, integration, scripting, and execution of all testing required of a single software change or project. • Independently develops test plan documents, writes and executes Robot automation scripts, manual test cases etc. • Reviews business requirements and designs specifications for low to moderately complex changes/systems for completeness and testability. • Setup and maintain lab for functional and performance testing. • Conducts testing using manual, programmatic or automated processes. • Provides inputs and escalates issues in triage/scrum meetings and coordinates with development team. • Conducts root cause analysis and correlation of other system and/or problems of moderate complexity. • Reviews and contributes toward product and internal documentation – technical specifications, software documentation and unit test plans. • Assists in reproduction and verification of field problems as needed • Handle multiple, complex technical projects and have the flexibility to work in a very dynamic environment *Qualifications* • 3+ years of software Quality Assurance experience • Experience with manual, programmatic and Robot automated testing methodologies • Solid experience with Linux operating systems, TCP and UDP networking, Shell scripting, Perl, Python and basic system administration. • Strong demonstrated analytical troubleshooting skills. • Strong written & verbal communication skills. • Market data industry experiences a strong plus; experience with RMDS/TREP products a strong plus; experience with Microsoft Windows a plus.
