These will be long term contract opportunities (12 month+). Local candidates only; on-site interviews required. 3 openings: 1. Lead developer: Someone who can manage the day-to-day activities and guidance of the other developers. Someone who has lead a project from beginning to end and knows how to build everything from scratch (8+ yrs experience) 2. Developer: Someone who isn’t necessarily as technically strong as the Lead Developer but knows how to get complicated things done (5+ yrs experience) 3. Jr. Developer: Someone who can take direction from the Lead Developer and get things done quickly (3-5 yrs experience) *Responsibilities:* - Learn data structures of source systems that will be included in BI solution. - Design and build data migration solutions from source systems to BI databases. - Construct data cubes and other objects to support static reporting and ad-hoc query requirements. - Lead BI development team by assisting, mentoring, and providing technical direction as needed. - Integrate end user reporting &ad-hoc query tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Excel, etc.). - Prepare and adhere to time estimates for all assigned tasks. - Communicate with end users as needed to ensure the delivered product meets their expectations. *Required experience/skills:* - 5+ years of experience developing BI database and reporting solutions on SQL Server, preferably with SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS. - 5 years ETL experience (pulling data from source systems into a staging area, srubbing/deduplicating data and funneling it to the DW/Cubes) - 5+ years of experience integrating Power BI, Tableau, and/or Excel into data cubes for ad-hoc analysis. - Strong data analysis skills. - Excellent communication skills. - Strong team leadership skills. - Proven abilities to be innovative and take initiative.
