Mandatory skills: BS/MS Degree and 6-10+ years HW Engineering experience. Additional experience may substitute for education requirement. Develop requirements and execute design tasks for RF hardware in the 100MHz – 1 GHz frequency range including RF amplifiers, receivers, synthesizers, and modulators as a part of complete radio systems. Requires hands on involvement in circuit design, component selection and vendor evaluation, control systems design, communications systems analysis, PWB layout, and rapid prototype evaluation. Preferred skills: Design to support testability, cost, schedule, and quality objectives. Understand and employ statistical methods; demonstrate problem solving skills. Manage multiple tasks independently. Ability to work and participate in a dynamic, fast paced team environment. Job Role: Developing new RF designs, redesign to replace obsolete components and/or address performance issues in existing designs, design verification. Testing (DVT), creating and updating specifications, supporting external design or manufacturing facilities.
