*Position Title: SQL Server DBA* *Location: Burbank, CA* *Duration: Long Term* A Level 4 type of SQL Server DBA - Who can come in and help assess and tune the current environment/databases - Someone who does NOT suggest major re-architecture of the entire setup/infrastructure. While re-architecture might be important, this is NOT the right time to go on that path. - Instead, someone, who can: - See the current Database configuration - Find ways to re-configure, tune the necessary parameters/knobs to make the system much more stable - Someone who is articulate to communicate and collaborate with developers, DevOps, and Architects - Provide alternate options along with Pros and Cons - Extrapolate the scaling aspects of current server infrastructure. For example, based on the current server capacity, how many more new customers can be added. This is not a simple math.
