*Job description:*

·         A major financial Institution is looking for a seasoned
Application DB2 DBA experienced in DB2 development to support an Investment
Management applications and functions.



*Required Skills/Background:*

·         5 -10 years Application DB2 DBA experience.

·         Proficient in DB2 development.

·         Define DPF (database partitioning features) and clustering
strategy.

·         Assist with and lead SQL performance and tuning efforts.

·         DW implementation experience preferred including: design,
implementation and maintenance of a DW database solution for optimal
performance, availability and integrity.

·         Experience with DB2 Physical Database Modeling.

·         Solid SQL development skills.

·         SQL queries and performance optimization.

·         Experienced in performance, tuning and optimization.

·         DB2 bi-temporal implementation knowledge or expertise.

·         Hands on DPF (database partitioning features), MDC
(multidimensional clustering) and MQT (materialized query tables)
experience.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Financial Services industry experience required. Asset/Investment
Management preferred.
