*Length:* 6 Month Contract (potential to extend based on performance and budget) *Client* :UHG UnitedHealth Group IT *Interview Process:* Interview process will be a phone interview and then face to face for candidates that are local to Nashville, and a video interview for candidates that are not currently local but will be relocating to Nashville. *Senior Oracle Database Developer Responsibilities:* · Work as a Senior Oracle database developer in collaborative environments with team members who sit in Nashville as well as others that work remotely. · Automate processes by creating scripts from scratch. · Utilize Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for ETL process. · Work with ERWin for generating Data definition language (DDL), and Logical Data Model (LDM) to Product Data Management (PDM) migration. · Actively participate in all phases of project software development life cycle (SDLC) including requirements analysis, database design, physical data modeling, process flow analysis, development, benchmark analysis, performance/tuning, capacity planning, and production implementation. · Production support responsibilities include maximizing system availability, optimizing database and availability through ongoing maintenance, and ensure conformance to audit and operating standards. · Provide instruction and support to junior team members. · Provide technical support to developers. · Integration of new capabilities into existing systems. · Uphold enterprise and department guidelines and policies. · Recommend and promote improvements to existing policy and procedure. · Provide status reporting to management. · Help monitor and alert when issues arrive and work to make them visible on dashboards. *Senior Oracle Database Developer Requirements:* · 7+ years of experience and Senior level ability as an Oracle database developer. · Experience and ability to automate processes by creating scripts from scratch. · Experience with using the Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for ETL process. · Detailed knowledge of Oracle system tables. · CASE and/or data modeling tools experience, preferably with ERWin and experience in generating DDL, and LDM to PDM migration. · UNIX experience (shell scripting, awk, sed, grep, sort, vi, etc.) -- *Ian Elijah* *Sr. IT Recriter * *Waynsys Inc* *(MWBE Certified)* *Direct: 732-733-4463* *www.waynsys.com* <http://www.waynsys.com/> *(eVerified) * Disclaimer: We respect your online privacy.
