Summary:
The Business System Analyst is responsible for eliciting, reviewing,
analyzing, evaluating and documenting business system and user needs for
Microsoft Office 365 Implementation. The Business System Analyst documents
requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems needs
addressing business unit strategies. This role would benefit from a degree
and experience in a related area such as Process Engineering or Information
Governance.
The Business System Analyst role requires a strong knowledge of commonly
used concepts and practices of business process engineering and optimization
and relies on pre-established guidelines to perform assignments. This role
operates under the supervision of a governance manager and works closely
with the functional SMEs. The Business System Analyst is a part of the
Client Digital Workplace governance team and will contribute to the
implementation and operationalization of Office 365 and its governance.
This assignment involves all facets of business analysis: gathering business
requirements, requirement analysis and optimization, stakeholder alignment,
business process design, documentation and validation of configurations and
processes. This person will partner with business stakeholders, program
leaders, functional SMEs and, in the analyst capacity, will contribute to
all phases of change implementation starting with project scope and success
criteria definition and through user acceptance testing and operational
stabilization.
Key Accountabilities:
80%: Business Analysis and Requirements Definition
. Gather requirements and negotiate options/timing for delivery
. Elicit, translate, develop and manage business and system requirements
. Manage stakeholder expectations and requirements traceability
. Apply critical thinking to draw out information from functional groups and
technical teams and summarize for the project team
. Assist technical teams in designing and implementing solutions that meet
business requirements
. Study existing capabilities, construct cross-functional workflow charts
and diagrams; develop specifications
. Improve systems by studying current practices and designing optimizations
. Recommend process and procedure changes
. Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to improve processes or investigate
ongoing or one-time operational issues
. Understand, document and communicate the impact of changes

. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and

Requirements:
. Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of related experience
. Strong business analysis background
. Experience successfully analyzing and documenting requirements for complex
and large-scale enterprise implementations
. Deep knowledge of business process analysis techniques and proven track
record are required
. Strong relationship management competence, with proven skills in managing
change, critical thinking and reasoning
. Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence
. Strong experience with UML or equivalent diagraming techniques
. Change Management and Business Process Reengineering experience
. Proven communication and presentation skills; both written and verbal with
technical and non-technical staff and all levels of management
. Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Outlook) and Visio

Develop, execute and manage large, more complex project(s) within the
defined scope. Manage a multitude of interrelated project activities and
lead all aspects of the project life-cycle, working with project
sponsors/key stakeholders, team members, and management to oversee all
phases of project completion. Build and manage project's work breakdown
structure, milestones, risks, issues, and deliverables within the
constraints of human and financial resources and changing priorities to
ensure the successful completion of the project. Ensure transparent
reporting of project status, issues, risks, and financials.

stakeholders, team members, and management to oversee all phases of project

Specific Accountability:
The resource selected for this role will be accountable for managing two to
four projects in total, which will include the "Aegis KTLO Project." The
Aegis KTLO project which is expected to coordinate patching and maintenance
activities required to stay in compliance with the Aegis system as we
prepare to move to a new system ("LifeSphere") in 2020. This will require
coordination amount various departments to implement datasets and tools for
users to access. Other projects in the pipeline are being evaluated for
funding and should be approved shortly. This PM could also be assigned a new
project from that effort.
