* JBQ, this isn't aimed at you, this is aimed at the management of the
Android project. I appreciate you putting the other side of the
argument, but this is affecting the feasibility of non-US developers
focusing on Android knowing that it will cover some of the bills. *

This is a question which is only relevant to developers, and is pretty
fundamental to those trying to sustain a business from developing
Android apps. As Stoyan pointed out, there's been no "official" answer
to the question so what would you suggest?, Sit it out and wait until
someone from the support team can be bothered to reply? How would
Google feel if developers didn't answer support questions about Android
apps for 10 days or more? Especially given developers have paid $25 USD
for the privilege of getting into Market and asking the question. With
12 separate developers asking the question that's $300 USD of market
joining fees to get absolutley no response to an issue that is affecting
sales.

If Multi-Currency isn't implemented it's only a matter of time before
users are going to see apps in USD, GBP, CAD, EUR, and possibly AUD.
There are already instances of users not taking notice of the currency
symbol so there will be people assuming that a $1.50 AUD app is more
expensive than an 0.99 USD app when in actual fact the AUD one is cheaper.

This isn't even something that can be solved by geo-targetting the app
because UK developers can't sell to UK G1 owners so there just isn't a
market they can target that deals in GBP.

To me this really is showing up how inexperienced Google is at selling
to consumers. It's one thing to work in the B2B world where currency
conversion is a fact of life, it's a whole other thing to put the burden
of ForEx calculations onto Joe the plumber.
