We have urgent requirement with one of our client's, please review below job description and let me know your interest JOB TITLE- Azure Cloud Engineer/Architect Location: Lake County, IL Duration: 6 Months+ Visa: GC, USC only (or) who are willing come on our W2. We are unable to work C2C at this time. Locals Preferred Description: This is a highly technical developer level position where the developer is required to have a deep understanding of cloud technologies and integration. The person will be required to setup a new Azure datalake for PII level sensitive global data. He/she should be able to integrate and build VPNs, containers, storage, data views, query capabilities and BI reporting. Part of the project is migration or lift and shift of existing databases but part would be to improvise combinations of spreadsheets, csvs etc into a SQL or Cosmos DB architecture and integrate with the remaining data (ELT).The person should be an expert in setting up network and security protocols for single sign ons, least privilege access, firewalls, Application gateway etc. Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required: . 3+ years of experience of delivering complex Cloud based solutions . Overall 10+ years of experience in data center technologies design, deploy and support. . Setup a data warehousing system with on prem data, storage blobs, Storage and analysis/visualization. . Setup infrastructure with availability set and availability zones for redundancies, setting port rules for secure access . Core infrastructure, virtualization and systems ( Storage, Networking, Vmware, Containers, Virtual Machines) . Manipulation of Data Factory, Logic Apps and Azure services to connect external APIs and data sources to the cloud environment . Azure Cloud solutions (Public, Private, Hybrid cloud infra design, ) . Network and security (Application Gateway, Azure load balancer, Site to Site VPN, Internal Load balancers, Firewalls, VPN tunnels, Azure Security Center, Azure OMS, Vulnerability scanning and remediation, Compliance, Azure network routing) . Compliance with internal Abbott privacy policies as well as EU, GDPR and California laws for data at rest and in transit . Expert Knowledge of logs and configuration settings on Azure so that there is seamless dataflow between storage, containers, processing instances, Power BI reporting . Azure security center optimized for monitoring, identity, Azure active directory setup, backups enabled. . Setup internal alerts and monitoring systems to catch errors, omission or security violations . Preferred knowledge of Windows and Linux OS . Setup Azure Storage Solutions including Azure File Services and Data Lake methodologies. . Hands on experience of Networking solution design, implementation and troubleshooting . Data and BI (SQL and No SQL, Excel and Power BI). . Advanced knowledge of SQL and JSON required . Scripting: PowerShell, .net, Azure CLI, Python, SSIS to be able to troubleshoot integration issues . Access & Identity: Singles sign ons, access lists with least privilege access rules . Capable of building enterprise Knowledge based systems.
