Location : Orlando, FL Duration : Long term contract We need someone to start next week Detailed JD - Hadoop Admin position requires expert knowledge and technical skills in the Hadoop data platform and associated tools(preferably HDP 3.0) - Hadoop tools used include HDFS, Hbase, Yarn,Hive, Hue, Zeppelin, Pyspark, Solr, Zookeeper, Ambari, Ranger, Kerboros , Knox, Nifi, Kafka - Hadoop tools is installed on Amazon web services and hence prior experience in Cloud environment will be a plus - Admin responsibility is to ensure the platform is up and running and available for developers and end users - Providing Technical support and design Big Data/Hadoop platforms (Like Hive, HBase, Kafka, Yarn, Druid etc.) - Handle and identify possible failure scenarios. (Incident Management) - Respond to end users of Hadoop platform on data or application issues - Handling Hadoop administration activities using Ranger and Knox. - Exposure to Storm, Spark and Zeppelin, respond to end users in any issues while running Spark Jobs. - Work with data delivery team to setup new Hadoop users. - Set up new users in clusters and providing access to Hive, HDFS, Yarn, Hue using Ranger. - Monitor Hadoop cluster connectivity and security alerts, manage and review Hadoop log files.
