The projects help them make strategic investment decisions. *Job Description:* • Design and build database objects, frequently for larger datasets. • Analyze data structures to inform construction, design, and use of database objects. • Conduct query tuning to improve performance of the database. • Continuously develop tools to make the job more efficient. • Works directly with senior portfolio managers, analysts and traders on a variety of projects requiring database development. *Primary skills* in order of importance: (1) Database programming in SQL, especially query optimization (2) Experience in using and optimizing on AWS platform (3) C# and/or Python.
