We have urgent requirement's with one of our client's, please review below job description and let me know your interest Position ID: DYES00006529 Title: Groovy, Java or Python Developer Location: South San Francisco, CA Duration: 6 months+ Locals Only Description: * BS or MS in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Software Engineering, Computer and Electrical Engineering, or related field, with at least 3+ (BS) or 2+ (MS) years of relevant experience. * Fluency in Ruby, Ruby on Rails and 1 or more of relevant programming languages, such as Groovy, Java, or Python; experience in database management using MySQL; as well as contemporary data visualization methods like Spotfire or Tableau * Demonstrated proficiency in a Linux environment and high performance distributed computing * Experience reverse engineering and documenting computer programs developed without documentation or access to original programmers * Attention to detail, strong organizational, written and oral communication skills in a collaborative environment * Experience with the Highcharts charting engine and using agile development methodologies such as Scrum. * Enjoy working in a fast paced and highly collaborative dynamic environment with a diverse team to tackle complex problems. * Document, engineer, maintain and fix bugs for web-based applications that perform data query, visualization and custom web-interfaces of data analytics pipelines * Engineer, maintain, and improve upon existing web-based applications' code base * Document technology dependencies for existing web-based applications and work with technology teams to do change impact analysis of infrastructure changes on web-based applications * Understand coding and testing best practices paired with use of tools like Atlassian Suite for feature request/bug fixes, and documentation tracking.
