*Position: 1* *Job Title: Network Engineer* *Location: Culpeper, VA* *Duration: Contract * *Scope of Work: * - Provide technical support to manage/troubleshoot SRX upgrade, enrolment and migration. Answer customer service and customer questions related to SRX upgrade, enrolment and migration. - Plan, perform installations/upgrading and testing of telecommunication infrastructure and related equipment. May provide proposal/cost calculations for budgetary input. - Identify and propose appropriate security and service levels, standards and design rules. - Produce installation and test documentation. - Provide regular progress reports on ongoing installations to all stakeholders. - In liaison with support areas, participate in the resolution of customer requests with limited to moderate complexity for new and/or modified network infrastructure. - Participate in the resolution of moderately complex network problems and in the development and documentation of technical standards and infrastructure applications. - Follow technological evolution in own area of responsibility and to keep management informed of applicability and opportunities for use of new products. - Prepare and/or participate in contract discussions with network suppliers and carrier organisations by performing activities such as negotiating with vendors, issuing purchase orders, proposing contracts. - Participate in projects of small to medium complexity. May at some point manage small projects. *Additional Comments: *This position has to work some of the weekends.JunOS, Network troubleshooting, Cisco routing/switching, IPSec Ike , Unix User, Firewall knowledge. *Position: 2* *Job Title: Java Developers (Professional)Location: Manassas, VADuration Contract /Long term* *Scope of Work: * - Design, develop, test, install and support programs/systems in line with agreed requirements. - Assist with the analysis of requirements and the development of recommendations as to the systems approach to follow. - Prepare specifications, codes, tests, deliverables, acceptance criteria, time frames, etc., and prepare and study the technical feasibility and estimates of the proposed systems solutions. - Analyze the problems, develop and propose solutions to more senior team members. - Provide technical assistance to other SWIFT colleagues and provide guidance to more junior team members in their daily work. - Develop and maintain technical documentation and prepare and give presentations to customers on systems. - Provide timing/scheduling estimates to project lead and propose corrective actions to timelines when necessary. Skill Matrix: Java / J2EE, Strong understanding of object-oriented concepts, Hands on coding experience and very good understanding of multithreading, Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms, Good understanding of JVM memory management and threading model, Good knowledge of Java Collections,RESTful APIs, XML parsing and processing, Tomcat, Apache Cassandra, Python (or other scripting languages).
