Work Authorization: None *Description:* IMS Mainframe DBA Location: Client site required • Strong IMS Mainframe DBA experience • DB2 Mainframe DBA experience • Applications background • Looking for highly talented IMS and Z/OS DB2 Database Administrator • Need to be able to effectively communicate orally and written with users, team members, management, and supervisors. • Must possess strong leadership and problem solving skills and have the ability to multi-task and thrive in a flexible and demanding environment. • Demonstrate technical expertise in all phases of IMS and DB2 database activities. • Participate with developers in application design and coding reviews, assisting them optimizing performance, availability, reliability and integrity of applications. • Monitor and analyze application performance and recommend solutions to optimize performance. Emphasis on SQL performance and tuning.
