Zoom/onsite interview with client *Job Summary:* · The primary responsibilities for the Application Security Specialist (Penetration Tester) will be performing, application, and mobile penetration testing, as well as furthering team development and advancing the practice within this international automotive giant. · The Application Security Specialist is engaged in a development project (Agile or Waterfall) to perform security assurance activities such as embedding security in application design, static code scanning, guidelines on secure development principles, and other security testing prior to "Go-Live". *Responsibilities:* · Use both automated and manual techniques to test security within the application. · Responsible for Vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. · Responsible for Web application security testing. · Responsible for Mobile application security testing. · Responsible for security testing of web services and APIs. · Responsible for performing mitigation test/validation test, focusing on bypass techniques. · Responsible for performing code reviews when required on the code developed by APP teams. · Responsible for performing false positive/negative analyses and providing recommendation to developers. · Perform findings/vulnerabilities analysis, document results, engage with high-level personnel, discuss findings, provide recommendations, explain testing techniques, and stay current on weaknesses and vulnerabilities. *Qualifications:* · Bachelor Degree or Master’s Degree · 5+ years of information security, development, and/or testing experience · A passion for identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities · Current Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker In-depth knowledge of OWASP's top 10 2017 weaknesses, and the OWASP testing frameworks · Extensive experience with testing tools such as Checkmarks, Nets parker, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Kali Linux, Intercepting Proxies, Blackduck, and/or similar tools · In-depth knowledge of networking and TCP/IP · Proficiency with at least one programing/scripting languages (e.g. Java, Python, Bash, JavaScript, PowerShell) *VINEET SHARMA || **Recruiter* *Email : **[email protected]* <[email protected]> *Cell: (315) 987-0024* *Desk: (803) 818-3474 Ext: 112* *1 Point System LLC* 115 Stone Village Drive, Suite C, Fort Mill, SC 29708.
