*Location: Houston, TX* Looking for an experienced professional Scrum Master to guide an Agile team that is a part of a larger Agile Release Train. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment that values team collaboration, speed and quality, with a strong desire to inspire change as we continue on our agile transformational journey. *Responsibilities:* Embrace & embody an Agile mindset Build a trusting and safe environment where problems may be raised without fear of reprisal Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices Help the product owner and team deliver the desired business value Guide the team in self-organization Remove impediments and coach the team on removing future impediments Help the team to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework Resolve conflicts and issues that occur Help the team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity Partner with your empowered and engaged Product Owner Build strong relationships with stakeholders, application users, and program owners Regularly attend and actively participate in Release Train Ceremonies: PI Planning, System Demo, ART Sync, Inspect & Adapt Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and the Release Train Engineer to ensure successful delivery of business value Work with stakeholders to accurately report progress, risks, successes, and failures Be on-site with rest of Scrum Team in Houston Qualifications & Experience At least 4 years’ experience functioning as the Scrum Master for an Agile team (solely as SM, not a hybrid) Ongoing active participation in agile and lean communities and events Experience with Agile tools such as Rally, Jira, Version One, etc. Strong experience in Agile metrics Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methods and processes is plus Experience in the telecommunications industry a plus Requisite Abilities and/or Skills: Encourage an environment that values mutual respect, openness, and courage Be uncomfortably transparent in all you do Challenge the status quo gracefully Ability to negotiate agreement Ability to think on your feet Ability to explain & impart Lean Principles Comfortable delivering good and bad news in a respectful, tactful and truthful manner Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Team Oriented Strong technical aptitude and experience leading teams in delivering quality software Thanks, Lakshmi 713-835-0729 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
