Their BI development has expanded and requires an additional person to lead a development team, ensure best practices, and deliver the business needs on the list. Position requirements are concise and align with what would be considered a BI Senior/Lead Developer. PowerBI expertise is 100% required. Look for experience as a PowerBI Analyst, PowerBI Developer, PowerBI Lead, or similar. Skills can be narrow and focused on PowerBI. Given the team in place, a wide breath of BI related solutions is not critical. Good communication skills are important. The individual will be responsible for ensuring the best design and consistent optimized reporting. They must lead other developers in delivering the same. Must be able to aid in continued growth and maturity of PowerBI content. Pass on Data Scientists, the BI practice is not yet mature enough to leverage the role. In Supply Chain Analytics, you will analyze complex data sources and work directly with business leaders and teams to provide relevant reports and solutions to our internal customers using tools like Power BI, Microsoft Flow, mobile apps, notifications & alerts. You will help lead our analytics team with analytics best practices, build repeatable processes and automation into the wider team, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver optimized reporting that informs operational decisions. WHAT IS REQUIRED: The candidate must have good communication skills and must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Use of visualizations and storytelling with data is a core function of the position. Relying on the mentorship and input of senior analysts and business leads is critical to success. EXPERIENCE: 4 year college degree concentrating on analysis, data, or operations 2-5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data management, finance, supply chain, or a related field Experience on a product development team using agile/scrum preferred Business analyst experience preferred Established customer service skills as evidence by working the role of external or internal consultant Strong business partnering, facilitation and influencing skills Basic understanding of transportation, warehousing, supply-chain execution software and third-party logistics is a plus. Strong analytical and thinking skills and desire to learn new skills. Self-Starter with a demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from start to finish. Talent communicating effectively both orally and in writing with people at all organizational levels. Proficient in developing and optimizing Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports with fluency in DAX and a focus on usability, performance, flexibility, testability and standardization Experience with SQL, XML, R, Python, SAS, or similar tools Proven professional experience with data mining, analysis, modeling, of large scale, complex data sets. Knowledge of Azure data management, OLAP, SQL, modeling, and experience with complex data sets is preferred. Advanced-level skills in MS Excel, MS Access, or other data manipulation software Expertise building data visualizations to highlight patterns in the data from unstructured and structured data sets Comfort with large amounts of data; being able to source and interpret large data sets.
