*We need a candidate who is hands on and have leadership capability to support & drive the offshore team. * *Position: Lead Quality Assurance (QA) engineer * *Location: St. Louis, MO* *Type: Contract* *Job Description * The Lead QA Engineer role plays an important part in Save A Lot’s product development process and will be critical to helping establish our team's automated and manual testing process and methodology. The Lead Quality Assurance (QA) engineer will design and build out the test automation framework in order to increase testing efficiency and scalability through automation. Ultimately, the Lead QA Engineer will monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards. *Responsibilities* • Design and implement automated tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. • Develop and execute automated tests to ensure software products meet a high standard of quality. • Define appropriate levels of code and test coverage across the platform. • Comprehend and decompose user stories/requirements to identify what tests need to be created and automated across the all levels of testing. • Prepare, communicate, and deliver technical presentations related to the test strategy that is tailored to the audience • Own the QA defect processes and documentation and ensure that a standard process is being followed cross the organization and that proper tooling and reporting are in place. (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.) • Participate in product design reviews ensuring quality practices are baked into the software development and deployment life cycle. • Work with internal teams to document test environment and test data management strategies and provisioning for the different types of testing activities. • Mentor and Lead the team of Test Analysts to execute test strategy, automation and agile testing processes and procedures. • Monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards. *Qualifications * • 7+ years’ experience in hands-on application development and test automation • Proficient in designing, implementing, and improving test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, Capybara, Rspec • Proficient at reviewing application code to identify implementation issues that could negatively affect testability of the application or system as a whole • Experience with automation testing for web-based APIs such as REST • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus • Proficient with languages and tools such as Java, Ruby, Javascript, Python, Groovy, Bash, HTML5, REST APIs, and GIT • Good exposure to SQL is required Ability to extract data using basic SQL queries and manipulate data for testing purposes • 5+ years working on Agile teams and Test Driven Development • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject • Excellent communication skills • Experience in testing in Azure/Azure DevOps development environment is a plus *Thanks & Regards* *Mohammed Ifthekharuddin* Tel: 703-831-8282 Ext 223 Cell: 323-825-5662 Email: [email protected] Web: www.canopyone.com <http://canopyone.com/> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
