Ability to use modeling techniques and tools in analyzing and specifying data structure in large and/or complex data sets, implement best practices in data management to ensure the integrity of the data, the quality of data processes and deliver analyzable or analyzed data to a variety of internal and external clients of Clinic/Hospital/Medical Center. Must have database application/management experience in a large medical center or healthcare environment with hands-on experience using SQL relational database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL). Ability to recommend best practices for data transformations to support the data movement, define data migration requirements, gathering, validating and documenting data requirements. Translate, merge, cleans up and/or map data into conceptual, logical and physical data models. Oversee all activities related to data cleansing, data quality and data consolidation using industry standards and processes. Identify, develop, and document data standardization, data enrichment operations, data validations, data security requirements, and data exception handling processes. Document, implement, maintain or recommend operating methods to improve processing, distribution, data flow, collection, database editing procedures. Define parameters for file or space utilization. Work closely with IT, Finance and Perioperative management and staff.
