We are looking for* eCommerce **Salesforce **Technical Architect* | NY with one
our client.



*Job Responsibilities:*

·       Plan and prioritize the migration roadmap based on brand
preferences, readiness and availability of features in the technology stack

·       Work to continuously optimize ways of working and to develop a
factory model for new site migrations

·       Manage and prioritize backlog at sprint inception and during sprints

·       Assist the team in producing and reviewing necessary documentation
artifacts such as FSDs and TSDs for implementation

·       Drive technical reviews for approaches chosen with global, zone,
architecture, security and other IT stakeholders

·       Oversee creation and management of functional and technical JIRA
stories to inform sprints

·       Conduct kick off meetings with stakeholders for onboarding and UAT
activities with clear outcomes and formalized expectations

·       Support key business activities with appropriate technical guidance
required on product features and capabilities

·       Ensure successful delivery of sites and features, from both a
technical execution & business adoption perspective

·       Ensure product team has requisite resources –both personnel &
non-personnel– for each sprint, pulling in SMEs as needed

·       Remove roadblocks, mitigate risks / issues, & escalate as needed
but also serve as an escalation point

·       Drive site cutover and launch activities with business, IT and 3rd
party stakeholders

·       Update key stakeholders on progress, gather feedback, and manage
expectations

·       Evangelize the philosophy of Nextgen architecture to promote reuse
of flexible and configurable components, and implement features using
existing functionality

·       Work with Program Success Manager to track brand activities related
to migration (including merchandising and content)

·       Work closely with the Product Owner to determine feature parity of
sites ready to be migrated to the new modernized architecture; build
consensus with brand and stakeholders based on time-to-market of features



*Job Skills/Qualifications:*



·       Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information
Technology or related IT discipline

·       8 – 10+ years of strong development background and architectural
experience required

·       Leadership skills to drive a large team and 3rd party providers to
execute tasks on time

·       Work experience on product teams and Agile methodology is a plus

·       At least 5 - 7 years of experience delivering digital initiatives
and eCommerce sites

·       Deep experience with Web technologies, emerging tech, analytics,
performance engineering, enterprise integrations, data conversions,
front-end frameworks, mobile tech are a must

·       Certified Salesforce Commerce Cloud Technical / Functional
Architect / knowledge of SFCC SFRA preferred

·       Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience
establishing guidelines in these areas for others

·       Strong sense of ownership and accountability for the entire
eCommerce technical stack

·       Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and
promoting a collaborative environment/approach

·       Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and
problem-solving skills

·       Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off
obstacles

·       Experience using business workflow platforms to manage projects,
SIT, QA, UAT (JIRA, ServiceNow a plus)

·       Expert level in Microsoft Office Applications, including Project
and Visio

·       Excellent communication skills - written, oral and presentation

·       Experience mentoring, coaching and developing rising talent in the
technology department

·       Located in NYC, willing to commute to other L’Oreal offices
