Genpact is seeking a *Principal SRE Leader as part of the Business
Technology Services organization. *This role is pivotal for executing the
delivery excellence strategy and for successfully driving SRE practices.



*This role will be a key part of the Delivery organization accountable for*

·         Strategizing a multi-year roadmap for defining, integrating,
evangelizing, and landing SRE practices in how Genpact delivers solutions
to our customers.

·         Continuously evaluating and representing the Function with Senior
Leadership and other Directors.

·         Driving the prioritization, planning, and execution by partnering
and collaborating with the teams and resources across Domains, Engineering
Groups, and Segments.

·         Overseeing the development of processes, tools, and reporting and
making key decisions for enabling SRE practices for the business.

·         Coordinating, measuring, and monitoring the execution of SRE
practices, and Overseeing actions for continuous improvement.

·         Influence and drive policies, operational processes,
standards/guidelines, and solutions that proactively address issues before
they impact system functionality or performance.



This role requires a collaborative leader with strong SRE practices, an
understanding of the consulting services delivery and engineering
disciplines, and the ability to successfully influence in a highly matrixed
environment. The role is responsible for leading the definition of
necessary SRE processes and methodology, best practices from the product
teams, industry, and for driving SRE practices improvement initiatives.

This role is responsible for influencing the adoption and usage of SRE
practices across multiple domains working closely with the Leadership,
Development, DevOps, and other teams

Plan and deliver complex SRE related process and tool improvements, drive
complex behavioral change by planning and executing change management
strategies driving best in class practices leading to scalable and
sustainable solutions. The key success of this role would be to
continuously automate, measure, learn, and improve agility, velocity,
reliability in solutions delivered to customers.



*Responsibilities:*

·         Collaborate with stakeholders and peers to define, enhance, and
maintain SRE best practices.

·         Leverage industry benchmarks to measure and improve existing SRE
methodologies, processes, tools, and practices.

·         Establish SRE methodologies and tooling implementation plan for
the Domains collaborating with key stakeholder groups and ensure they are
centrally consolidated

·         Support multi-year continuous improvement for implemented SRE
practices and associated tooling based on feedback and learning.

·         Collaborate with stakeholders to improve usability and adoption
of SRE practices and tools across the delivery teams.

·         Orchestrate necessary updates and improvements to SRE practices
and tools, simplifying and unifying where applicable, driving consistency
and predictability across Delivery teams

·         Be the voice of the Development and Operations community around
SRE practices and tools by providing inputs and closely collaborating with
SRE engineering, tools, and enablement teams for building, landing, and
driving adoption of the improvements with the users.

·         Be an evangelist of emerging SRE best practices in services to
improve agility and efficiency for the end-user personas and the delivery
business.

·         Owner of SRE practices and tooling IP and Genpact across various
forums within and outside the organization



*Qualifications*

*Key Success Criteria and Competencies required:*

·         Demonstrated ability to manage a broad portfolio of diverse and
cross-functional programs, projects, and initiatives driving global impact.

·         Ability to lead and drive large scale change within a global
Professional Services organization

·         Prior experience in planning and executing DevOps and SRE
practices and landing roadmap in a global environment.

·         Prior experience in working with cross-functional teams, live
site reviews, ownership of translating customer and technical requirements
into service architecture to meet Quality of Service expectations for
end-to-end business services.

·         Exposure to enabling and managing cloud services, usage, and
optimization as well as automation and development of tools to support the
DevOps model and improvements based on trends and data analysis.

·         Experienced in DevOps culture

·         Understanding of key technologies and trends for one or more
domains and articulating their impact on DevOps and SRE practices & tools
needs to broader internal and external stakeholders to gain their support
and drive necessary changes proactively.

·         Articulate compelling vision, develop followership systems
thinking.

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical and
business leaders at all levels within large enterprises.

·         Influencing stakeholders to achieve impact through collaboration,
presence, and strong communication skills.

·         Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural and
global environment spanning multiple time-zones.



*Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:*

·         Deep and extensive experience in building and landing SRE
practices is required.

·         *10+ years of experience across software engineering and
operations, practicing DevOps and SRE.*

·         *5+ years of experience in SRE enablement*

·         Ability to identify and evaluate existing automation tools,
features, or applications, with the most value to the project teams and to
increase the productivity of the team.

·         A delivery experience by working in leading-edge SRE adopting
organization, high-growth tech startup’s like *DropBox/Stripe/Uber/Lyft/Github
or big tech companies like Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Amazon*

·         Strategic thinking with the proven capability to contribute and
execute a delivery strategy that resulted in quality delivery outcomes.

·         Outstanding interpersonal skills, providing leadership by
example, and an inspiring vision for driving the future in a matrix
environment.

·         Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in computer science, or
equivalent years of experience

·         Exposure to enabling and managing cloud services, usage, and
optimizations.

·         Remote position based in any major US/European City.
