*Job Description:*
Need an analytical, well-educated, knowledgeable, experienced and motivated
team-player with strong IT background, work ethic and integrity that will
become a key part of IT-SAP Team to implement and provide adequate support
for EWM + SD/MM/LE-TRA and EDI modules to users.
Suggest and implement improvements for EWM/SD/MM/LE and EDI processes using
SAP S4/HANA. Need to provide training to users if needed or requested. This
role uses business knowledge, IT background, SAP concepts and good
communication skills.
*Major Responsibilities*
- Analyze business requirements and gaps not met by the existing systems
/ implementations.
- Identify feasible solutions within SAP framework and estimate effort
needed to meet those business requirements and gaps.
- Implement solutions using SAP configuration, master data setup or code
and support roll-out projects.
- Provide day-to-day SAP end-user support. Primarily in EWM and
logistics modules.
- Design practical, creative, conceptual technical solutions for
business requirements balancing appropriate technology, cost and
implementation timeline.
- Create a positive work environment by demonstrating and sharing
functional/technical knowledge.
- Effectively uses teamwork to positively contribute to a high
morale/high-performance team culture, consulting attitude and strong
personal integrity.
- Provide support in the creation of query reports/programs, barcode
solutions, educational sessions and general consulting.
- Consult where requested for research and implementation assistance in
regard to new modules, features or interfaced/integrated new products
within SAP
- Nice to have experience in implementing and Support SAP EDI
integrations with 3rd party applications. Experience working on major
integration projects with 3PL/4PL.
- Develop and adhere to standards for design, coding, testing, change
control, code deployment, software controls, configuration management,
continuous integration, troubleshooting and root cause analysis of SAP
incidents.
- Understand how your functional area impacts or is impacted by actions
in downstream or upstream modules and third-party interfaces.
*Work Experience and Qualifications:*
- Min. 8 years of Systems Analysis / Functional Experience in
configuring and Supporting EWM and LE SAP modules
- Must have knowledge on at least one of the SD/MM/LE modules in SAP and
have a good understanding of warehousing business processes. Nice to have
interface knowledge between modules such as SD/MM integration with FI/CO
and interfaces between MM, EWM, PP, SD, PM and QM modules
- Must be familiar with Supply Chain business models, SAP WM and
wireless technologies
- Min. 5 end to end SAP (ECC/S4 HANA) implementations and roll out
experience.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare or Life Science industry is
preferred
- Nice to have experience of working on SAP integrations with middleware
such as CPI/PI/PO, SPS Commerce, Opentext, Mulesoft etc
*Skills and Competencies*
- Able to configure and support in EWM + SD/MM/LE modules in SAP.
- Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can
manage own workload.
- Previous experience in SAP implementation and development of SAP
EDI/IDoc is must.
- Knowledge of SAP EDI / IDOC / RFC connections and experience of
setting up these connections for partners
- Able to collaborate with users and have a strong desire to excel.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, good
inter-personal skills.
- Nice to have knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) is preferred.
- Monitor and test all SAP EWM + SD/MM/LE processes to ensure solutions
are not impacted by other module when upgrades and support patches get
implemented or if the process changes in any other module.
- Must have strong knowledge of warehouse and distribution business
processes and best practices
- Familiarity with enterprise mobility solutions and hardware
- Review and work up development requests & specs for ABAP/UI5
programmers to develop customized functionality or reports to meet business
requirements.
- Fiori skills and experience working in a validated environment -
preferable
- Experience in project management with technical competence in SAP
- Nice to have knowledge of Service Now (Service Requests, Incident &
Change Management Process)
- Nice to have knowledge of SOLMAN and ChaRM
- Must be able to communicate and write in English.
- Must be on -site so if in driving distance would be ideal
- Pro-active / Aggressive (this is extremely important for this role b/c
it’s not being part of a large implementation team, it is the only resource
to support in this area)
- Root Cause Analyzer
- Full-Time onsite in Kalamazoo, MI
- SAP eWM expertise needs to have worked physically in a Warehouse
setting (as opposed to sitting in a cubicle configuring eWM)

- *Wave Picking*
