*Primary Responsibilities:*
- SME on Accessibility - Identify and clearly document accessibility
issues, suggest remediations and implement them
- Answer BA/developer, qa team’s questions about accessibility
requirements.
- Develop the UI screens with Angular 11/latest versions
- Will become the go-to person for accessibility issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
*Requirements:*
*Must Have Skills:*
- *Experience in evaluating /remediating web pages for*
- *WCAG 2.1 AA conformance*
- *Section 508 conformance*
- *Expert skill level and accessibility testing experience with at least
one of the following screen readers:*
- *NVDA*
- *JAWS*
- *VoiceOver*
- *Other accessibility testing tools. ChromeVox, aXe, AMP, color
contrast checkers.*
- *Understanding of digital accessibility testing and certification;
WAI-ARIA; US ADA*
- *Experience coding accessible web pages using HTML and CSS*
- *Can write accessibility recommendations for remediation*
- *Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.*
- *Experience in Angular, JavaScript , NodeJS*
- *Understanding of Open source scanning and SAST*
- *Angular experience*
- *User form input*
- *Observables*
- *Custom validation*
- *Components & templates*
- *Directives*
- *DI*
- *Security*
- *Good understanding of OWASP TOP 10*
- *Experience with JIRA, Confluence.*
- *Experience working with Visual Studio, WebStorm or similar IDEs.*
*Experience with version control svn*
- *UX Design*
- *WCAG (Web content accessibility guidelines) 2.2 AA (AAA)*
- *508 Compliance*
- *Enterprise Applications*
*Nice to have Skills:*
- Understanding of Amazon AWS
- Experience with Bootstrap/Angular Material
- Passion for building and helping others build accessible UIs.
- EN 301 549 (EU) conformance (nice to have)
*Preferred Certifications/Credentials*
- IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC)
- Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Candidate must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a security
clearance.
