We are using J2EE, JBoss and Kafka but not required.* *• Work with Microservices and develop and deploy our applications to the cloud (AWS)* *• Java development, good with distributed system design, good with databases, use Hibernate, MySQL and Arora on AWS. * *Sr. Java Developer (Cloud) * Our OTAmatic SDP development team is seeking a talented Cloud Service Developer to help design and build our Cloud service platform for our customers. This includes design/development of components, evaluating new technologies, and creating new Cloud based Telematics services as part of the OTAmatic SDP platform. The successful candidate must have at least 6-8 years of strong Java development experience in developing cloud based services. *Key Responsibilities: * •Analyze requirements, design, implement, debug, and deploy Cloud Platform services and components. •Develop and maintain design documents and interface specifications. •Lead and work closely with other Software Engineers, Architects, Product Development Team, QA and Support groups. •Assist support and operations in resolving configuration and technical issues. *Education and Experience Required: * •Bachelor’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering •6-8 years’ work experience as a Java Engineer. •Experience with UNIX/Linux and scripting languages. •Experience with JEE and related technologies. •Solid skills and experience with developing applications using Java Web service based technologies (REST, SOAP). •Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL as well as OR mapping technologies such as JPA, Hibernate, etc. •Solid knowledge an understanding of Database concepts. •Solid knowledge and understanding of Software Design Principals. Experience with Java EE containers and application servers (JBoss, Tomcat etc). •Experience with Java Messaging (JMS). •Experience with developing highly available scale out services using Java Technologies. •Experience with Source control (GIT) Experience with Build tools (Maven or Gradle). •Experience with Java development tools (Eclipse/IntelliJ).
