ON Site Job (No Remote) VISA: USC, GC *Title: *Network Engineer *Duration: *6+ months *Work Location: *Brooklyn, Ohio ; must be onsite from the beginning *Interview Mode: *Video interviews *Project Name: Network Access Control (NAC) Phase 2 – Implement Aruba ClearPass* *Required:* 1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. 2. 3-4 years of experience in Network Engineer position 3. Networking certificates a plus 4. Understanding of TCP/IP and the OSI model. 5. Experience with networking devices including switches, routers and access points. 6. Ability to work as a member of a project team, under the direction of a Senior Engineer or Architect. 7. Ability to travel between office locations. 8. Ability to work in a non-clean environment. 9. Ability to lift and move network equipment. *Desired:* 1. Effective verbal and written communication skills. 2. Ability to independently identify, research, and resolve issues 3. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. 4. Capability to efficiently complete tasks in a fast-paced environment. 5. Strong organizational skills. *Responsibilities:* 1. The candidate would help to develop policies that will be used to manage authorized and unauthorized devices. 2. The candidate will also assist the Network Support team in updating those devices that cannot be managed dynamically. 3. The candidate may be asked to assist the Network Support team on resolution of any problem tickets reported by the user community. *Project Details:* Implement *Aruba* ClearPass as a means for restricting unauthorized access to the internal network without impacting business and user experience. Steps to implement the solution: 1. Identify and catalog devices that connect to the MMO network. 2. Implement the *Aruba ClearPass* product. 3. Develop access policies for each type of device. 4. Implement policies for devices that ClearPass can manage. 5. For devices that cannot be managed by ClearPass, load a new certificate that has updated network access permissions. *Other:* Tasks may require work under desks or in network closets.
