*Job: ServiceNow Developer/Software Engineer* *Job Type: *Contract *Duration: *6 -12 months *Location: *Arlington, VA *Skills:* XML, HTML, Application Development, Structured Software, Javascript, Javascript Frameworks and Libraries, Exchange, ITIL, Rollout, User Interface,Scrum,Jquery,JIRA,SDLC,Bootstrap,Integrator,Debug,AC,Warranty,Technical Requirements, Maintenance *Certification:* ServiceNow CSA, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, or ITILv3/v4 certifications highly desirable. *Description:* Will have to pass a background investigation A successful candidate should have a strong IT Service Management and software development background and be able to perform all activities related to Application Development, including but not limited to: * Adherence to a standard Software Development Lifecycle * Develop detailed functional and technical requirements for Service Now enhancements * Troubleshoot and Mitigate identified bugs * Develop scripts o To improve operational efficiency across all AC ServiceNow environments o Orchestrate and Automate workflows and data exchange * Must be able to define and implement high performance and highly scalable product/application architectures, and be able to lead integration activities for operational, tactical, and strategic systems o define requirements o write program specifications o design o code o test o debug programming o document programs * Determine and analyze functional requirements * Optimize service performance * Develop and customize ServiceNow scoped applications and facilitate the rollout of new business processes and * enhancements to current applications. * Development and maintenance of custom applications, portal user interface, and digital workflows. * Delivering new services via the Service Portal. * Develop and maintain APIs with various enterprise and 3rd party applications. * Develop using ServiceNow Glide Script / APIs, HTML, JavaScript, Angular, jQuery, XML and Bootstrap. * Develop an automation test strategy for building a regression test suite. * Work closely with Stakeholders and interview them to gather system requirements for proof of concepts. * Work with various Stakeholder, Product and Service Owners, Support owners and Queue Manager To ensure transparency * and that what we are delivering has “Utility” and “Warranty” as defined in ITIL. *Qualifications:* * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required, Computer Science program strongly preferred OR 3+ years of software development experience (specifically developing, implementing, and maintaining solutions within ServiceNow). * Must have development experience with Service Portal and Now Mobile. * Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, Waterfall, and Agile Scrum. ** ServiceNow CSA, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, or ITILv3/v4 certifications highly desirable.* ** Working knowledge of JIRA* Regards! *VINEET SHARMA* <https://em-ui.constantcontact.com/em-ui/em/page/em-ui/email> *Mobile (315) 514-3320 * *I am working from home, there can be disturbance in phone line.
