*Elastic Search* *Kibana* *Logstash* *IBM WebSphere Application Server* *Job Title:- Application Build Engineer* Location: El Dorado Hills, CA Remote Work(Y/N):- Yes until Offices reopens after Pandemic. *Location*: El Dorado Hills office location/onsite position *Length* : *initially 3 months-will extend .* *Interview Mode: Teams or Zoom* *Job Summary:* Client is seeking application infrastructure engineer for engineering and build out activities of *ElasticSearch*. This role will be responsible for *installing and configuring* *ElasticSearch*, *Kibana*, *Logstash* as needed to deliver each required application environment. Experience in *installation, configuration, managing and maintaining* *IBM WebSphere Application Server V 8.x/9.x (WAS), WebSphere Liberty 20.x/19.x , IBM HTTP Server V 8.x/9.x. IBM WebSphere Portal Server 8.x/9x, WebSphere Content Management (WCM) products.* This resource will also be expected to “codify” (automate) the installation, configuration and key operational activities of these products with a focus on using Puppet. *Required Skill Set :* - Solid experience with automating builds/installs, code deployments and configuration using various scripting languages/technologies i.e. Python, Ruby, DSL, shell scripting, JSON, ant, Portal Scripting Interface, XML access, config engine etc. - Working knowledge of automated configuration management tools and processes. (i.e. Puppet, Ansible, Chef) - Strong working knowledge and hands-on support experience with RHEL/Linux server operating systems. - Well versed in web application security and ability to work with security professionals to ensure a secure web application platform. - Good working knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, DNS, Java EE, LDAP, Active Directory, XML, Web Services, authentication protocols, SSH, SFTP. - Good understanding of IBM WebSphere Portal development and Java/J2EE technologies portlets, skin/themes, ear, war, jar, jsp, xml, properties, etc. - Application support on the Microsoft Windows and/or Linux Server platform with strong knowledge of N & N-1 operating systems, Remote Desktop Services and other server related technologies - Proficient in supporting applications which leverage COM+, DCOM, .NET 2.0+ technology-based applications and Java applications hosted on Windows/Linux Server platforms. - Experience with virtualized infrastructure and administering Windows and/or Linux servers utilizing VMware ESX 5.5 and above - Working knowledge of midrange management tools, i.e. VMware vSphere, Citrix, NetBackup and Enterprise Monitoring Tools i.e. Splunk, Tivoli, IBM APM, AppDynamics, Dyna Trace etc. - Excellent interpersonal, verbal, organization and documentation skills - Ability and willingness to adapt to and learn new technologies, products and applications - Strong analytical, troubleshooting/triaging and problem determination skills required. - Must be able to operate in a high-pressure environment while maintaining a productive attitude, ability to work through obstacles. - Experience and/or aptitude improving and automating processes. *Desired skills:* - Experience with ElasticSearch, Kibana, Logstash 7.2 experience in production, in medium to large clusters - Experience configuring and performance tuning large clusters - Working knowledge of Kibana visualization strategies and techniques - Good Understanding of Elasticsearch index configuration options - Advanced knowledge of Elasticsearch sharing, partitioning, aliases, watchers, etc. - Experience building Elastic Cluster and installing plugins - Experience in optimizing IT services through automation, standardization and continual improvement. - Experience developing and implementing hybrid cloud migration strategies, docker containers, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with IBM MQ, IIB/WMB, Data Power, API Connect, DB2, WODM - Experience with supporting Trizetto Facets , McKesson applications - Experience with supporting EDIFECS application – a plus - Experience with web-based and voice recognition IVR application platforms - Healthcare/Payer operations experience - General understanding of SDLC process and best practices Regards! *VINEET SHARMA* <https://em-ui.constantcontact.com/em-ui/em/page/em-ui/email> *Mobile (315) 514-3320 * *I am working from home, there can be disturbance in phone line.
