*Max Rate: $53/hr. on C2C* Cloud DB, Mongo DB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Linux system administration *Job Title: Database Admin with Cloud DB* *Location: *Louisville, KY Duration: 12+ Months Remote Work(Y/N): Y (Due to Covid) VISA: USC, GC, GCEAD, H4EAD, H1B Only *General Description/Job Summary:-* - Support day-to-day operations of open source database platforms including MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL running on cloud platforms - Support delivery of project implementation tasks for open source database platforms including MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL running on cloud platforms - Deliver written and verbal communication for project status updates and SCRUM standups Think through problems and convey potential solutions to team leads Work tasks in defined projects and system implementations; work across multiple efforts simultaneously. - Present new technologies and analysis to team leads to determine best action plans for operations support and projects. - Helps provide consulting and advisory services to internal enterprise users of open source data platforms. - Advise project teams that design, engineer, and rollout operational readiness of new products, capabilities, and features for open source data base platforms *Work Experience Requirements:-* · *2 years* of experience in managing *MongoDB* · Experience managing *MySQL or PostgreSQL* · Demonstrable experience and knowledge with key value, column oriented, and document store non-relational database systems such as MongoDB. · Demonstrable experience with open source relational database systems such as *MySQL or PostgreSQL* · *1-2 years* of experience implementing solutions on in *data center and/or cloud using automation like Terraform. * · Knowledge of database security including on wire and at rest encryption. · *2 years'* experience with *Linux* *system administration, configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security procedures; experience with Windows desired.* · *1-2 years'* experience with relevant scripting languages or programming frameworks desired - *BASH, PowerShell, NodeJS.* · Knowledge of database/data design and architectural principles and methodologies. · *1-2 yrs* of operational experience supporting robust e-commerce, online businesses in a 24X7 production environment. · Expertise configuring and supporting high availability redundancy strategies for data-centric systems. · Expertise with *Disaster Recovery planning and implementation.* · Excellent systems documentation and diagraming skills. · Experience with *Agile* methodologies · Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting systems issues and effectively diagnosing problems. · Understanding of *TCP/IP* fundamentals *(DNS, TCP, HTTP)*, general networking technologies, network architecture and connectivity troubleshooting. · Understands how to learn about new technologies, works within agile methodologies, and willing to share with peers · Keeps informed on new technologies *Education Requirements:* Degree in computer science/information systems, engineering or related field preferred; or a corresponding number of years' experience in technical operations or software engineering.
