*JAVA API Engineer* 100% Remote for now (Must be in the CST or EST Time Zone) 6 Months contract Software Engineer – *Java, Microservices, AWS, Kafka* Must Have - Java, Java Spring Framework - Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Spring Security , Spring MVC - RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, API Integration, API Development - DB2 knowledge, SQL Server , Postgres SQL - AWS, Kafka Nice to Have : Microservices Web Methods, DataPower, MuleSoft, Apigee API Design & Architecture KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED: - *5+ years of experience in Software development methodologies and best practices* - *3+ years of experience in building web services in **SOAP and/or REST using Java, Spring/SpringBoot framework**.* - *2+ years Hands-on experience with a cloud platform such as **Pivotal Cloud Foundry or AWS, or container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.* - Strong experience working collaboratively using Agile/Scrum methodology is essential. - *Solid experience with Git, GitHub and DevOps tools like Jenkins, Sonatype Nexus repository* - Fluent in complex SQL and experienced in DB2, Oracle or SQL server preferred. · Good experience on data streaming (ex.
