The developer should be outgoing and have the ability to analyze issues and engage other delivery teams, to help investigate and resolve production issues. The candidate must have excellent analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. The Developer will need to learn and obtain intimate knowledge of the current state of the business and technology with regards to the OPSS Suite of applications, and have the ability to deliver code and feature on time and within budget to align with the OPSS 2021/22 roadmap. *Responsibilities* è Collaborate to gather and review software requirements/user stories, provide estimates (relative estimation), break user stories into specific subtasks è Create software design specifications and collaborate with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions è Write code using ReactJS and Java to create User Interface screens and MicroServices in support of OPSS activites. è Execute a specific development methodology through application of multiple programming languages and databases è Accountable for code quality; perform unit testing - evaluate test results, design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results and produce associated reporting è Perform component, contract (consumer PACT), integration testing, reporting testing è Tier 2 and Tier 3 Production Support - solves configuration and environment issues è Understands, implements and tests accessibility requirements è ReactJS and Java Full stack developers è LNP Application to IDP – Final testing stages – Late may deployment. è T&C Application to IDP – Coding in progress - August / September completion. è Activations Postpaid to IDP – Starting in PI5 – November / December Delivery è Activations Prepaid to IDP – Starting mid/late PI5 – December / January Delivery è OPSS to the Cloud Modernization/Migration – currently on hold – expected to be taken off in PI5. *Required Qualifications * è Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field è 10+ years of product development design and programming experience in Java, scripting, microservices, data design, data migration è Experience within high tech, software and/or wireless/telecom industry highly desired è 5+ years working within scaled agile development team è Solid technical background with understanding and/or experience in software development è Strong analytical skills and the ability to convert consumer insights and performance data into high impact product initiatives è Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner to peers, developers, and senior leaders è Technical skills would include; ReactJS, Java, MicroService developer, Scaled Agile Framework, full stack web design, application design *Preferred Qualifications* è Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field Have a nice Day.
