· Demonstrated experience supporting WAN/LAN networks in a 24x7
production environment
· Mastery of L2 Networking: VLANs, 802.1Q Trunking, LACP link
aggregation
· Mastery of L3 Networking: IPv4 Addressing/Subnetting, Routing(BGP,
OSPF)
· Mastery of network troubleshooting tools, techniques, and fault
isolation methods
· Strong experience with firewalls, ACLs, NAT, IPSEC, Client VPN.
· Strong understanding of core network protocols: DNS, DHCP, LLDP
· Experience supporting Internet-facing infrastructures and
troubleshooting public network issues with customers and third parties
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of
articulating ideas; able to express opinions in a team environment.
· Must be detail-oriented, understand the importance of controlling
change without delaying deliverables.
· Works well in a team environment with a superior customer service
