* Job Description: Job Title* Automation Engineer Work Location* Broomfield, CO - 80021 Vendor Rate* $55 Contract duration (in months)* 6 Job Details:* • 5+ years of experience testing Web applications (automation and manual) • The candidate will lead the planning, design, implementation and execution of automated and manual test strategies for our product using Selenium. • This person will collaborate closely with the Engineering, Customer Support, Customer Success and Product teams to ensure we are releasing the highest quality product for our customers. • This person needs to be able to work independently while having strong cross-team collaborative skills. • They should be proficient in test planning and strategizing and have experience with Agile test methodologies. • They should also have hands-on experience in developing automated test frameworks and coordinating the creation of both manual and automated test scripts. Responsibilities: • Improve the overall efficiency of the QA team. • Automation using Selenium. • Creation and automation of CI/CD pipelines and resolving issues arising for the same. On time code deployments. • Work alongside developers to evangelize testing best practices • Work closely with support and engineering teams to capture test automation framework requirements • Architect, develop, maintain and document automation scripts. • Work with QA functional team members to port the existing repetitive test cases and automate them • Review, maintain and improve current automated software test methodologies and processes. • Detail oriented with good written & verbal communication skills • Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills • Broad knowledge and hands-on technical experience in test methodologies and automation development, with extensive experience creating automation and test frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, RSpec, and Cucumber • Experience in implementing automated software delivery pipelines and continuous integration using tools such as Git and Jenkins • Experience in developing RESTful API test automation • Experience in load and performance testing of large distributed high traffic web environments • Experience with Security testing is a plus • Experience with Cypress is a plus.
