*Job title: Azure Engineer Developer Location: Jersey City, NJ Duration: 6+ months Job description:* This is an Onboarding Lead Engineer role which requires maintaining, updating, supporting Azure Application Management Gateway (APIM) Globally. Provide Architectural Reviews, recommendations, best practices and standards to API Teams. By following API Platform Onboarding Process to ensure Teams adhere to Client’s API, Security, Identity, Architecture, Infrastructure, DevOps standards and best practices. Under this role is expected hands on ability to create, maintain and support not limited to: APIM Policies, Name Values, Custom Domains, Certificates, Swagger Files Configurations, Developer Portal, Publisher Portal and Global API Platform Tools. To work closely and assist other Global Engineering Teams, coordinate project efforts from teams building APIs in the Azure platform.
*Responsibilities* - Onboard and Support Development Teams into Global API Platform and Azure - Work closely with the Sr. Azure Engineer and/or Architect to take defined requirements and lead the provisioning of the necessary automation elements to deploy production workloads to our cloud API Platform Environment. - First Tier support for internal and external users - Create Azure ARM templates, PowerShell Scripts - Responsible for Disaster recovery, backups/restores of Azure Resources Configurations (ARM Templates), AKS Containers, Storage Accounts, etc. - Responsible to create Azure Automation configuration and runbook development - Design, install, configure and maintain cloud resources and develop recovery strategies for all systems. - Manage and coordinate Monitoring of Alerts, High Availability, DR, activities. *Skill Toolset* - 5-6 years hands on experience administering Azure cloud environments - required - Knowledge of API Management Gateway and Application Service Environment Resources. - 2 years hands on experience of Azure Networking/subnets, Virtual Networks, VPN, ExpressRoute, Network security groups, Load balancers, Storage Accounts, etc. - 5 years hands on experience with Windows Server administration and related applications, Active Directory, IIS, and SQL Server, Identity and related cloud technologies - Working Knowledge of OAuth2 and Open ID Standards - Hands on experience Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics - Hands on experience implementing storage options for cloud services and hybrid scenarios with on-premises and storage on Azure *Optional Tools* - VSTS or TFS - GitHub - Visual Studio - Containers Docker and Kubernetes Thanks and Regards, Bala Sai Krishna G.
