*IT Project Manager (PMP required)* *Houston, TX* *12 Months* Job Summary: United is seeking an experienced and personable Project Manager to oversee the production and completion of multiple technology projects. � They must be a multi-tasker who has excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills. � They must have a sense of ownership of their projects and be capable of maintaining an appropriate sense of urgency. � They must be able to effectively manage teams to finish their work efficiently and within deadlines. � They will collaborate with other departments routinely and will monitor each phase of their projects, ensuring that staff works efficiently, and that the final product meets expectations. � They must operate effectively, achieving goals, in environments where organization authority is limited or non-existent. Job Duties and Responsibilities: � Evaluating roles, responsibilities, and deadlines for all team members. � Maintaining resource plans, schedules, and forecasts. � Making sure that projects are being completed effectively, on time, and within budget. � Coordinating changes, ensuring good organizational change management practices are followed, and having the willingness to adapt when necessary. � Keeping teams committed, motivated, and productive throughout projects is expected. � Creating status reports for upper management will also be routine.
