*Position: SR. Backend Engineer* *Location: Scottsdale, AZ / Chicago, IL / Woonsocket, RI (Remote for now) * *Duration: 6 to 12+ Months Contract* •8+ years of experience in Application Development with advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines •6+ years developing in OO programming languages like Java/J2EE •3+ years’ experience in developing microservices using Spring Boot •4+ years’ experience in relational databases, NoSQL, or cloud data stores •Knowledge of MVC, MVVM, MVP, and other design patterns and core frameworks •Knowledge of Threading concepts, SOAP & Restful APIs, UI Storyboards •Experience with the implementation of third-party libraries and API •Experience in DataPower/DBPL and/or ATG preferred •Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, jQuery, React •Experience in developing and deploying scalable cloud-based systems with one or more cloud technologies: Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Microsoft Azure •Experience in building and deploying services using Gradle, Maven, Jenkins etc. as part of CI/CD process •Strong desire to build unit tests from the start with TDD development. •Be an advocate of security best practices, support the importance of security within engineering, partnering with Digital and Enterprise security teams and digital product owners to ensure compliance •Knowledge of tools like Git, Adobe Analytics, Postman/SOAPUI/Insomnia, Rally, Junit, SwaggerHub •Ability to understand problems, break them down into hypotheses and propose solutions in a clear manner •Ability to crisply document design and implementation details •Experience in Agile/SAFe methodologies required •Experience in the health-care industry is a plus •Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires a blend of innovation and speed of execution •Willing to work as a team and has the right attitude to work as a part of a large organization Thanks!
