*Job Title: Application Security Engineer III Location: Chicago, IL –
Remote candidates are accepted Duration: 5 Months*

Description:

   - The Application Security Engineer works alongside the team that is
   responsible for identifying and managing application security
   vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

   - Performs static application security testing (SAST), software
   composition analysis (SCA) and dynamic application security testing (DAST)
   scans, and manages vulnerabilities of in-house developed applications as
   well as externally developed applications.
   - Improves the *application security hygiene for web applications,
   mobile applications, and APIs* *
   - Partners with development teams to identify and *fix application
   security flaws* during coding and testing.
   - Works with application security product vendors and service providers
   to deliver reliable operations.
   - *Must have* *admin experience with commercial or open-source
   application security tools such as Veracode, Fortify, Qualys, ZAP, Burp*.
   - Should be familiar with enterprise technologies like GitHub, TeamCity,
   JIRA, ServiceNow.
   - The candidate should be *able to create security engineering designs,
   diagrams and technical documentation*.
