I had the same problem yesterday !
Actually, the original poster post saved my day : it's the window Host file that is messed up : the file is at this place : C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc And should contain this line : 127.0.0.1 localhost Putting this line back allow me to debug once again. But to tell the truth, I'm more than worried by this. I can't imagine how this line get removed. To add it back, I had Windows Defender that warned me 'something' was happening. And later, as I was working on my Android application, the line got removed once again. And Windows Defender didn't tell me anything. So I really suspect there is a virus there that remove this line... If someone know something about that, I would be glad to here it !
